And it is without recharge. It has been about 2 months since I last posted. I was busy with my exams so I couldn’t find the time to add new posts. But now i will be adding post as soon as I’m free. Now back to the news.

To be exact the light source will glow for 15 years! That certainly sounds crazy. According to ecoble, this new product by GlowPaint is non-toxic and does not require a recharge. First thing that comes to my mind is that the world is going to change because of this. If it is inexpensive and can last for so long, billions of dollars in energy costs can be saved worldwide.

The product contains Litrosphere. According to PureEnergySystems,

“The Litrospheres are not effected by heat or cold, and are 5,000-pound crush resistant. They can be injection molded or added to paint. The fill rate of Litroenergy micro particles in plastic injection molding material or paint is about 20%. The constant light gives off no U.V. rays, and can be designed to emit almost any color of light desired.”

This invention is certainly interesting. We shall see if it will be in use few years down the road.
