I went down to the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA) to have a look at the the furniture prototypes the students have made out of recycled materials. The event has been titled After2 - Material X. It is currently showing at Nafa Gallery 3, Campus 1, Level 1 located at 80 Bencoolen Street. The exhibition is only until 28 September and the admission is free. Do try drop by if you are in the area. Some of the designs are quite interesting. The students have recycled materials such as newspapers and plastic pipes to produce their furniture prototypes.
