Energy Conservation Effort
Everyone seems to be doing their part in energy conservation or perhaps conserving their pockets?
We went for a walk at Marina Square and saw this sign post - ‘Escalator Stopped for Energy Conservation’. With this escalator shut down, there were only 2 left for shoppers. As seen in the picture, shoppers did not seem to be affected by this arrangement.
What do you think of this? Energy conservation? Inconvenience to shoppers?
Well, it’s a start. Do you know if your area has taken a second look at power factor correction and reducing electrical line noise as a way to reduce energy consumption from the grid? At least until solar takes hold.
