Yet another innovation by Japan - Bamgoo, an electric vehicle with a body made of bamboo. This ecologically friendly concept car was developed by the Kyoto University’s Venture Business Laboratory and the city, featuring local bamboo ware technology.

The 60-kg single-seater measures 2.7m in length, 1.3m in width and 1.65m in height. The car can run for some 50 kilometres (30 miles) on a single charge.
